Bill is Regional Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic and has over 35 years of experience in the banking and financial services industries, with more than 25 of those years serving as CEO or COO of banks in the Mid-Atlantic area. As Regional Managing Director, Bill is responsible for the overall operations and growth of the Mid-Atlantic Region and for ensuring the quality delivery of services to clients.

Throughout his career, Bill has repeatedly performed as a successful problem solver, a developer of new businesses, a successful recruiter of personnel and capital with a determined commitment to the highest levels of customer service. In addition to successfully executing operating strategies that improve banking performance, Bill has executed plans for strategic growth and operating success while thoroughly understanding and operating within the appropriate regulatory, compliance and risk management constraints.

Bill founded one of the most successful de novo banks along the East Coast. In this role, he created and managed all aspects of banking and bank regulatory requirements dealing with the Federal Reserve, the Pennsylvania Department of Banking, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the FDIC. Upon the merger of the bank, he was responsible for all lending, deposit growth and marketing for the newly merged billion dollar plus entity.

His experience also includes successfully saving a failing Philadelphia-area community bank where he managed the risk of the purchase, raised the required new capital without investment bankers, and managed the communication process with regulators. This included the sale and/or workout of the entire loan portfolio, the rewrite of all bank policies and procedures, the hiring of a new senior management team, and the recruitment of a board of directors. When the bank was restored to satisfactory profitability, he led the bank through a series of strategic acquisitions that included entering the SBA business, the acquisition of a multi-billion dollar regional mortgage origination business, and created a specialized bank within the operating bank that caters to professionals.

Bill has held positions of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association Community Bankers (PACB) and was Vice Chairman and board member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA). He currently serves as a Trustee of Ursinus College and Chairman of the College's Audit Committee. Bill is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business (MBA) and a graduate of Ursinus College (B.A., Economics).
