Accume Partners has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager with proven Professional Service Sales experience.
Primary responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Identify new business opportunities - Develop new targets through cold calling and development of new networks. Leverage your existing network and account penetration skills to generate prospects for the firm. Analyze target lists and manage research efforts into new companies, industries, or localities to target.
- Manage opportunities through to sales - Ensure appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process by coordinating meetings, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Manage firm business development events - Organize seminars and receptions relating to expanding the firm’s business.
Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus) in Business or Marketing. The Candidate must have 5-10 years of Business Development/Sales experience in a professional services environment. Previous experience in Audit or Accounting is highly recommended. In addition to previous work experience, the team-oriented candidate will be strategic, relationship-focused, flexible, high-energy, tenacious, results-oriented, and have an existing network. The candidate should be proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PPT; CRM systems; and be adept in utilizing the internet for marketing research. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
