Roslyn Dashiell
Marketing Director
Roslyn Dashiell is Accume Partners’ Marketing Director with responsibility for managing the firm’s global marketing efforts, including development and execution of strategic programs to support institutional branding, product marketing, and industry-specific goals of strategic business units. Her responsibilities include brand management; market analysis; website content development; event marketing; public relations; media planning, and overall management of branding, advertising and marketing-communications activities.
Roslyn has over 20 years of well-rounded experience in institutional and product sales and marketing. Her experience includes campaign management, directing creative development and production, managing media and public relations, B to B sales, and marketing in a variety of settings, including advertising agencies, media outlets, and corporate marketing departments. She has specific industry experience in insurance, financial services, broadcasting, publishing, and higher education, in addition to advertising agency experience working with blue chip clients in retail, trade, and consumer markets.
Prior to joining Accume Partners, Roslyn was Director of Corporate and Community Relations for Gwynedd-Mercy College’s Institute of Professional Development (IPD). She was responsible for directing the community outreach program, and for developing the corporate marketing program aimed at creating opportunities for non-traditional students to earn undergraduate and advanced degrees with support from sponsoring corporate and public employers.
Previously, Roslyn gained extensive experience in the financial services sector as National Sales Manager/Group Marketing Director for A.M. Best Company – an insurance and credit ratings agency. In this role, she was responsible for managing all aspects of advertising sales, circulation, and marketing for a $20MM group of advertising-based publications and proprietary data products. She was also responsible for top-line growth while managing a national business development team selling multi-faceted marketing programs to national insurance companies, brokers, intermediaries, international reinsurers, and financial-services organizations targeting various segments of the insurance industry.
In previous roles as Media and Production Coordinator for EarlePalmerBrown advertising agency, and as an Account Executive for Radio One – a national broadcasting network – Roslyn worked with a broad range of consumer accounts to develop, sell, and produce advertising and sponsorship programs for retail and consumer organizations to help increase their local-market awareness and deliver measurable returns on advertising and promotional activities.
A member of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Roslyn has an MBA in Marketing & Finance, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Media Studies from Rutgers University.
