Chris B. Harris

Chris Harris is the firm’s Managing Director responsible for client service/quality control and for financial institution clients in the mid-Atlantic region. Chris has more than 40 years of experience in analyzing financial and operational performance of organizations primarily in the financial institutions sector.

Previously, Chris was audit partner in charge of quality control for a national accounting firm, where his focus was on serving financial institutions ranging in size from start-ups to $15 billion in assets. He has extensive background in assisting financial institutions with implementation of risk management programs and assisting de novo institutions.

Chris has also served as vice president and controller at CoreStates Financial Corporation, a $20 billion financial institution, as well as CFO at NutriSystem Inc., a $250 million NYSE listed company.

Chris is a member of the Pennsylvania Banking Association, where he is a frequent speaker and author for the association's publication. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers, the Financial Executive Institute, where he served as chairman of the financial reporting committee, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where he served on the peer review and banking relations committees. A graduate of Susquehanna University, Chris is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania.
