Herbert Schild

Investment Management Practice Leader

Herbert Schild  Herbert Schild is Accume Partners’ Investment Management Practice Leader based in the firm’s Boston, MA office, where he is responsible for client acquisition, client service, talent management, and engagement management.  He has over 17 years’ experience in the international financial services, banking, and insurance industries, including providing investment management advisory services to clients seeking to improve operational effectiveness and financial performance.
Prior to joining Accume Partners, Herbert spent several years as a manager with Ernst & Young’s financial Performance, Risk and Compliance Practice. He also worked as a manager in corporate controlling for John Hancock Financial Services and assisted the CFO of guaranteed structured financial products in the evaluation of liability reserves, ALM modeling, solvency testing, and supporting John Hancock in the production, reconciliation, roll-up, and analysis of 10Q/K GAAP/STAT financial statements and the quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley 404 review process. 

Herbert is president and co-founder of Management Business Consulting, a financial consulting and money management firm that provides derivative hedging and asset allocation management.

He is also a member of the American Management Association (AMA), the National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA), The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Austrian Scientists and Scholars in North America (ASCINA).

Herbert holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Suffolk University and a B.A. in Psychology from Northeastern University.
