Sheryl S. Vittitoe

Sheryl Vittitoe is Managing Director responsible for the firm’s financial services practice in the Metro New York region. She has over 15 years of financial services experience in industry and in public accounting with regional and national accounting firms.

Throughout her career, Sheryl has gained extensive experience working with all aspects of operational and financial auditing in the financial services sector, including retail banking; residential, consumer, and commercial lending; trust and deposit operations; credit unions; and capital markets.

Prior to joining Accume Partners, Sheryl was Senior Vice President and Audit Director for a top-20 U.S. bank where her responsibilities included auditing the corporate accounting and treasury areas as well as various lending, branch, trust, and deposit operations. In this role, she designed and implemented risk-focused audit procedures, including documentation design, sampling methodology, and testing procedures associated with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. Previously, Sheryl was Controller for a federal credit union with $500 million in managed assets.

A CPA in Pennsylvania and Michigan, Sheryl is certified by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) to perform audit quality reviews and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from Liberty University.
